Upon moving to Atlanta in 2005, my mother informed me that I had a cousin (a second cousin- once removed, to be exact) who also lived in Atlanta. Her grandmother and my grandfather were siblings. We finally hooked up at Passover in 2006 and have been in contact regularly since. Corinna Sephora Mensoff is a strong woman- both figuratively and literally. She is a blacksmith. She has many beautiful pieces in both public and private venues across our city (and elsewhere). She was comissioned a few years back to create the ark doors and menorah for the newly refurbished chapel at Temple Sinai here in Atlanta. And of course, I have to show a pic of the two of us together... (I am the shorter one and my hair is a LOT longer and blonder now... wonder how that happened).
ADDENDUM: READ THE COMMENT FROM CORINNA BELOW... She will be having an open studio in about 2 weeks. If you are local, you may want to give it a peek! I know we will likely be there (the boys' love her and her big, heavy, dangerous toys).

Well you are in Luck!
there will be an open studio at my studio, and studio tour on the southwest side of town on NOVEMBER 8th 1:00 to 7:00! Please come if you can. Also if you look on the archives of HGTV you can see a piece that they did on me a few years ago.
We are also currently working on adding video to my website. phoenixmetalwork.com. I have plans to create educational videos of my work in the future as well.
The ARK DOOR is made from steel copper, and bronze. It was commissioned as a gift to the TEMPLE SINAI's new sanctuary.
I am currently in the Design phase on a Holocaust Memorial sculpture for a children's Hebrew academy near Atlanta.
Tobie has been asking me to send her images fro a while, I am happy to see how well they are received.
