This Challah Cover in bright orange from Joan Shifrin will certainly light up your Shabbat table. I personally love the color orange. I know it is not a favorite of many others but to me it speaks of sunshine and mangoes!
There is not much about Joan on her flickr site, but a quick look on Google helped me learn more about her. She and her partner Catherine Shimony started Global Goods Partners, an organization dedicated to alleviating poverty and promoting social justice by strengthening women-led development initiatives for marginalized communities in Asia, Africa, and the Americas.
