This bowl was commissioned by Mrs. Leah Rabin in honor of the first official meeting between Prime minister Yitzhak Rabin and President Bill Clinton, October, 1993.
The design style in influenced from Biblical times.In the bowl are fruits typical of Israel (including the pomegranate) made from silver, gold, glass and ceramics by 12 Israeli artists. The gift was presented to the President and his wife at the White House as a gift from the artists of Israel. The ceramic bowl and pomegranate are the work of the Israeli artist and sculptor Rachel Cadmor
